It’s not just pitbulls that attack unprovoked.

There have been some nasty, vicious attacks involving multiple dogs which separately were quite nice family dogs. Pack behavior had its own dynamic, and a sweet family dog can become something else entirely when in a pack of dogs.

The main point I want to make is that there is a reason for dogs to be behind stout, secure fences or in inescapable dog runs. Dog owners should be criminally liable if the dogs are purposefully loosed.

I would expect at the least these dog’s owner(s) will pay for the boy’s medical expenses.

Yep, dogs in packs can be dangerous.

Thankfully the neighbors intervened to drive the dogs away!
