Is there something about the First Amendment that you have trouble understanding? I'm not the one who believes it states that one parent's wishes can be foisted upon the other unchallenged.

May I ask what bearing the first amendment has on a mother and father who petition the court to decide a dispute between them? The state is not the initiator here. The father is.
