I wondered because of the question that mentioned paying off a debt as a matter of conscience. I really feel for people who bought homes that are now so undervalued they will never return to the purchase price. I know of so many people in that boat. In fact, probably everyone who bought a home during those bubble years is affected. For those who say it’s a moral obligation, man, I have a hard time agreeing with that when I see the power of the big banks and their government bail-outs.
