Oh no. I must have gotten home just in time. She is probably on Chain Bridge-123.

I was wondering if they had closed the roads due to the motorcade. That would have set off some unhappy commuters! But the article you posted said that they did not close off roads today. Wonder if that is true . . .

Any pic of Obama throwing a ball is just the dictionary definition of “throws like a girl”.

>>Try Atlanta in an ice storm some time. These poeple can’t drive in the rain.
I can tell you really live in Atlanta.
I went out Monday after our last snow just for fun and had a great time in it. Found a nice big parking lot in which to pack my rear wheels full of snow sliding sideways. AWD is a blast if you have half a clue what you are doing.

Heck, it’s funny now!
We had a Gran Fury 2-door of around that era, ‘72 IIRC. Bright red. I drove that car a lot as a new teen driver.

Route 7...Tough to go anywhere from the Potomac to Leesburg regardless of the weather on that road. I so don't miss living there anymore.

And, Ill bet you had a little bit of fun doing it. Ordinarily I might have- but I left work early due to illness. I just wanted to get home and parked and into the house.

LOL thats something I would do. Forget to close windows. Or maybe the moon roof window would be slightly ajar...

Tomorrowis going to be an interesting day. Coz folks are going to have to decide if they are going up on their roof.

That looks like a heart attack special. yikes
To: Daffynition
WOW! I don’t think I would want to know the stress on that roof.

I'm sure there is a way to calculate that weight......Way too much, would be the figure I come up with on that one.
To: goat granny
I don't like heights. Snow rakes are at a premium. Several roof collapses on the news this morning.

They have this thing called "grid-lock" when nobody goes anywhere regardless of what they are driving. The headline says that he's stuck in the snow, not stuck in traffic. Perhaps a bit misleading, given the circumstances.
Regardless, I hope he's in the car and has had to sleep there overnight.
