Other reports are saying that it was the end of his encore - the stage lighting started flashing and he held his hands up like he was momentarily blinded by the flashes. Stepped of the stage, hit a metal railing with his head on the way down. Suffered a large gash and was unconscious for 5-10 minutes.

Same here. I keep “A Salty Piece of Land” by my bedside. Thanks to that book, I now dream of having the capital to start a fishing guide business with my brother-in-aw one day.
Amen to that. The guy still surfs,flies his own plane, and has sailed all over the world. So the fat drunk and stupid comment is pretty ridiculous. He’s also done good stuff for the Wounded Warriors among other things. Plus he didn’t have me thrown out when I snuck backstage at one of his concerts many moons ago. Get well Jimmy.
