Cooling vents? Those aren’t big enough. Just put it a port for circulating liquid helium cooling system, and don’t forget the handy dandy storage tank backpack combo.

Good for holding more batteries too, oh, and a keyboard and mouse

It should come with a telescoping handle and two little wheels, like a carry-on bag for a flight.

I’m a little bumped that you left off composite video out.

Oh, and remember to make wireless *optional*, since the whole wireless data transfer thing is just a passing fad. No point carrying around the extra weight and energy-hogging wireless components. ;’)

You took my idea!

And you left off the DE-9 serial port, fibre channel, SCSI and serial-attached SCSI. I’ll give you a pass on not including a Zip drive and token ring networking.

Good points. We need bunny ears, an AM loop, and an HDTV antenna.

And don’t forget the coax input in case someone wants to plug this into cable to use as a DVR! Might need those component plugs too. And don’t forget the little screws for anyone who might have his own regular antenna.

People in the Sheriff’s office are searching for “Dupnik” and ending up on this blogger’s site. His server logs show that the visits are from the Sheriff’s office and that Google referred the visitors.

And I think we’ll see specialty android tablets with excellent audio features.

Specialty tablets have been around for a while, successful in their niches. Network engineers have a pen tablet with a couple each of every networking port such as RJ-45 (what you normally see but in a few different wirings), BNC, etc. I don't see a reason an Android version couldn't be made, since it would probably be better than the current XP-based one.

And I see no reason why a tablet can’t do everything a standard pc can do.

Fit two of these graphics cards into a tablet and get back to me.

The early versions of the mid816 had a removable flash card as the hard drive. You buy a specialty android device, you get 2 different hard drives.

BTW, I've done that with laptops, different hard drives for different purposes. Big PITA.

Kaypro! I had one. In an emergency you can use it as a boat anchor. Lunar lander rocks!

Yes you have - the speaker connections only have provision for a single, thus mono, speaker... not cool...

Apple: “Want an iPod? Here.”

Microsoft: “Well, what exactly are you looking for? We have this version and that version and this option and that option and ...........”

“Back when a laptop was a laptop.”

You mean a “luggable”.

They actually did have laptops back then, but they weren't PCs.

However, the OS and BASIC was written by Microsoft.

A lot of people still use the old Model 100, especially in rugged field environments.

It might or might not be pita. The more that it’s designed to allow for that, the less it would be a pita.

I don’t know what that is, but isn’t that just a super fast card.

I would hope that desktops can and should be a little faster than laptops and laptops a little faster than tablets.

Isn’t this graphics card just faster?
