I concur, that was also a stinker. The vast majority though are top notch and I've seen them all so many times through the years that I can recognize any episode very quickly and I'm sure that you can, too.

I just watched both segments and read an essay by Shafer. Interesting stuff, gonna have to buy his book right away. ... Just imagine, everything in total is a thought in the mind of God, and the universe IS The Word. Gonna be an interesting read.

I have a running bet with anyone that I can name the episode of TOS in fewer seconds than anyone else.

I've never been beaten.

It's one of the skills I have in lieu of something valuable or socially rewarding.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Thanks The Comedian. I think I left the written report on the results of this experiment on the top shelf. Here, climb up this spiral ladder, it's not far.

Yikes,

he just pitted himself against every corporation and university that profits from Genetically Modified Foods and Medicines,

The field of cross-phylum genetic transmutation becomes of paramount importance before any further GM organisms are introduced into the wild, or created for economic imperatives.

I believe this professor is going to be deep sixed and blackballed by the end of 2011.

My favorite line:

“Surely you are aware that investigators do not reveal the detailed content of their experimental work before its first appearance in peer-reviewed journals,”

The Universe is God. He is conscious and the source of everything - all forms of life, all impulses of love. Our bodies are His sensory “organs.” Our brains are the integrator and transmitter of the sensations and thoughts to Him.

He must take tremendous pleasure in having us all alive to provide ever more “experiences” for Him. He loves us as Himself, because we are all a part of Him.

When we leave this particular form, we go back into Him, the source of all, the Alpha and Omega.

Of course, this leaves all questions of religions aside. This is the realm of pure Eternity and its spirituality we’re discussing.

As a Bible reader, I am convinced that God rrespects the individuality He has given to you (and to me) and so long as His Creation remains, He has instructed us that your individuality will remain. Are you part of the movement which seeks to melt into the universe and abandon your individuality? I get emails regularly inviting me to seminars on noetic discussions like SAND.
