I'm sure you didn't mean to imply the "Natural Born Citizen" requirement in the Constitution is a "technicality," but the theory that this is a ploy...I'm not really buying that one as that was tossed around prior to the 2010 election as well. That, someone would produce a genuine long form B.C. for him and make all the Republicans and Conservatives look stupid for questioning the missing document(s) and they, the Republicans would loose most elections. Look how that theory turned out!

They need him out soon before his ineligibility is proven for all to see. If the birthers are proven correct, a whole lot of ruling class types in both political parties will go down with him.
That's how it works. When Nixon resigned, VP Gerald Ford became president and he in turn selected Nelson Rockefeller to be the next VP. There are enough RINOs in the house and senate that Biden will no doubt be able to give the post to Hillary Clinton. In fact it almost seems like that his how this whole drama has been planned out.
