Oh yea, I am going trust that these needles will penetrate the bear and if the probes dont launch properly or are not dispersed widely enough you die.

Hows it work on a 200 pound meth head...??

- reducing the need to use guns to kill or tranquilize.
What’s wrong with tranquilize?

I’d rather have a gun. How are those two little prongs gonna make it thru the bears fur?
Range of 35 feet eh. How long does it take a bear to make it across 35 ft? A lifetime.

If it doesn’t work, the user better pray the bear has a sense of humor.
To: Berlin_Freeper
When you turn off the current on these the incapacitation stops. So now you have a really really pissed off bear.

It can temporarily incapacitate mammals like bears and mooseGreat...but I wouldn't want to be the guy doing the "live" test.

Right.
If 2 wires do not hit the bear the right way you DIE.

Would you trust a taser when confronted with this?

Didn't think so.

“wildlife workers and park rangers”.
Its fine for government workers, but I would like more of a sure thing.

you have in Canada.

Do the math.
Bear is advancing at 25 mph.
Max range of weapon 35 feet.
First shot is ineffective.
How much time does the shooter have to get off the second and third shots?
The whole thing sounds like a green energy concept.
And who’s going to do the product testing in a real-world environment?

Okay, should it actually work...what do you do next? Handcuff the bear? Read him his rights?
