So I will condense te issue to one key question that Pen Johannson cites at The Daily Pen as one of his questions for Congress:

Even the AP said he was Kenyan-born. It’s clear that national government on both sides of the aisle isn’t going to do anything about that.
This is now about the basic efficacy of government. If Hawaii can’t come up with a random individual’s birth certificate, what can they be trusted to do?
That’s an issue that can’t really be ignored. Hawaii now has that around their neck permanently. Any new grab, any new expansion of power, anything, and the question will be, “You can’t keep track of birth certificates, what makes you think you can get this done.”
It’s the Lotrium. It’s the bottom floor. Now socialist/fascist/communist progressive can argue the point.
The goal is proving that government isn’t the answer for most everything outside of national defense and infrastructure that makes interstate commerce possible. Now the question of what STATE GOVERNMENTS ought and ought not to be doing will be front and center.
Do we need Obama gone at this point? Maybe, maybe not. Illegitimate on top of incompetent is good enough for me. Having him around to run against in 2012 is, in my opinion, a good thing.
I think there are a bunch of Democrats rethinking the whole ‘historical affirmative action hire’ strategy of holding on to the WH. I’m telling you they are going to spend the next two years convincing people that they aren’t quite as unhinged as they demonstrated they were from 2008 to 2010, and that means looking for a White Guy to run for President. They won’t run a lady either. The Democrats have made enough dubious history in the last four years, even for them.
That’s why Reid is going to prevent the repeal bill from getting to the Senate. If it comes up for a vote, it’s going to pass with D support. The idea of Obama having to veto the repeal his centerpiece is just a fantastic ‘optic’. They are hammering Palin over ‘refudiate’. What idiot came up with this application of the word ‘optic’?
