My take is that the commie fool in Hawaii who the fools in Hawaii elected as their Governor just couldn’t resist getting some media attention. He thought..why not do my commie buddy zero a favor and put this birth certificate to be once and for all. Now that I’m the Governor...my word is final..... Another example of the fools...... I really think he may have opened the doors for the wheels to finally come off the obama bull shit machine...... Of course time will tell, but anyone with half a brain can see the writing on the wall...

Here's another one for you: Webster's definition for "typewriter"

1: a machine for writing in characters similar to those produced by printer's type by means of keyboard-operated types striking a ribbon to transfer ink or carbon impressions onto the paper

But no, it's never correct to refer to anything typed as "written."/sarcasm

Good luck with that. If I had a penny for every time I heard a birther make such a claim over the last 2 years, I'd be rich.

What did he say about it?

I wouldn't be surprised if he talked about the issue only to dismiss it as nonsense the way Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, and Glenn Beck did.

You maybe right, but who started the big lie in the first place and what political party advanced it?

Whatever Fukino saw was't an actual document which is either buried in some archive or never existed at all. All she had was a name on a long list of names of birth registries that said it was on file. That would have been a computer print out and as we have seen throughout this whole birth certificate fiasco, those records were doctored...or disappeared and reappeared in a more confusing form.

Sean Hannity also addressed the BC issue today on his radio program.

I have to disagree. “Typewritten” would be hte correct term which is not the same as written down...here’s the actual quote:

He told Honolulu’s Star-Advertiser: ‘It actually exists in the archives, written down,’ he said.

Admin Mod: The cartoon in Post 192 should be deleted as it violates CartoonStock.com's copyright policy. I'm sure it was inadvertent, Hotlanta, I'm just trying to keep FR from being sued for copyright infringement.

As explained on CartoonStock.com: "Due to the agreements we have with our artists, we do not have the right to grant use of any of their images without the appropriate fee being paid." Their site also states that a purchased cartoon has no watermark, which the cartoon in Post 192 does.

What paperwork was used to certify Obama as eligible to be President of the U.S.? Seeing as we now run Congress this should be easy to find.

Should be. But to do anything about it requires two thirds of the Senate.

A record “written” down. Good effort, but I don’t think they had “post-it” notes back then.

They didn't have COLBs when Obama was born and he tries to pass it off as an "original" birth certificate ... that's part of the joke.

The dictionary. I looked up "write" and "record." A birth certificate is clearly a record.

A proper birth certificate is a preprinted form that has to be filled out. Abercrombie awkwardly noted he saw a 'written' record ... do you HONESTLY believe he was talking about an official birth certificate and was too stupid to use the right words??

My question: where were Rush and Hannity and all the others on this when it counted (BEFORE the election.) Only Michael Savage discussed this on air pre 11/08.

Sigh. The law you are citing was passed in 1982. There was no provision for registration of foreign births on books at the time Obama's birth was registered in 1961.

Webster's disagrees with you. "Written" is a general term that can either refer to handwritten or typewritten.

A proper birth certificate is a preprinted form that has to be filled out.

Filling out a form usually involves writing stuff down. Hence information in a form that has been filled out can be said to be "written down." Sheesh.

Abercrombie awkwardly noted he saw a 'written' record ... do you HONESTLY believe he was talking about an official birth certificate

Yes.

and was too stupid to use the right words??

There's nothing wrong with the words he used. His meaning is obvious to anyone who isn't trying to read something into them that isn't there.

Right, which is why the only possible written record Fukino and the current governor could possiblly be referring to is a birth certificate.

he tries to pass it off as an "original" birth certificate

I don't think he's ever claimed the COLB is an original document. Do you have a link?

Nonsense. The state law tells us that anyone can report the details of a birth. Not all birth reports result immediately in a birth certificate. That's why there are delayed certificates and certificates of Hawaiian birth. There was also a handwritten ledger for listing births. If Abercrombie was talking about a birth certificate, he would say so, no???

I don't think he's ever claimed the COLB is an original document. Do you have a link?

factlack dot org said they handled the 'original birth certificate.' Barry's Gibbs, the press secretary, said he had the BIRTH CERTIFICATE posted on a website. This stuff has been discussed here before.
