One day, long ago in extreme northern and eastern MT we wanted to make a phone call. Finally got some analog "bars" on the top of a SE facing "hill".
Stopped and made the call.
When we looked at the phone bill later, we were surprised to find the call had been made through Bismarck, half a state away.
