India will buy three more French Scorpene submarines to bolster the rapidly declining submarine fleet. This is in addition to the six Scorpenes India had signed up for in 2005,now total order will be 6+3=9

Now be fair to the French. They have always been leaders in “reverse gear” technology. Its not such as bad thing to be
able to back out of trouble as fast as you got into it.

At least so said Oddball.

Can somebody please cue up a pic of Oddball?
