MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Two men have pleaded guilty in south Alabama to trying to smuggle military-grade weapons from Mobile to Mexico.
Authorities say 39-year-old Robert Carlos Mata-Ocana and 29-year-old Reynaldo Arriaga admitted Thursday to meeting with a Mobile-based undercover agent last year to inspect nearly $100,000 worth of weapons. The truckload included guns and grenades.
