Way back in WWII we were given Atabrine, a vile tasting, little yellow pill. It prevented an “attack” of Malaria. However the parasite, if you had been infected, was alive and well in your Liver, and would remain there. I was told that if I remained in good health I would be OK, ????????

The drugs are better now than they were in WWII, but still not 100 percent effective. That said, if you follow the directions, you are fairly safe.
