I've known a lot of potheads over the years; skinniness isn't a characteristic I ever noticed among them. On the contrary, the more "dedicated" the pothead, the more likely he/she was to be of average weight or over that.
Speed, on the other hand, "uppers," whether it was in the form of methamphetamines, crank (synthetic cocaine, as far as I knew), and to some degree cocaine, but not as much as you'd think -- the speedier the skinnier. I indulged in a wanton and wicked lifestyle in my 20s; I speak from experience. I look at Obama and see a speed freak in terms of physique, but in terms of speech patterns and facial expressions ... hands down, 100 percent in my mind, reminds me of a cokehead. Never saw those very particular characteristics in anyone BUT those frying on coke.
Parasites. Yeah. That's the ticket.
