At $5 per gallon I guess I would have to pick up a Tesla Motors Model S for around town driving (300 miles between charges).

The $90K it costs to buy a Tesla would purchase a whole lotta $5 gallons of gasoline.

I’d still fill my car up as before...but no doubt curtail my travels and piggyback errands close to the rail. I’d drive the speed limit to conserve fuel when on interstates.

Basically all I did when fuel hikes were here before.

I read other nations are having hissy fits because the US doen’t have to pay the prices they do....yet.
