As far as I know I’ve never heard about the Tokarev (762x25) until after I posted my last message and then you mention it. For some reason I like the FN 5.7 but will definitely look at the Tokarev again.

Search for Yugo M57 or CZ52, both use that cartridge and can be found for $200-$250, depending on where you look. They are the finest in commie engineering. I have a CZ52 I got a few years ago and like it. It is about the size and weight of a 1911 so it would not be at the top of my list for concealed carry b/c of that and the fact that the cartridge will tend to over penetrate. Surplus ammo is still abundant and not too expensive. There is some commercial ammo available but most, like the surplus is FMJ. There are some JHP out there but since I don’t intend on using it for self defence I have not checked on the price.

The FN pistol you mention is nice but I can’t justify the price. I think, last time I checked, they were well over $600.

you can get the 5.7 pistol, but I THINK that if you load the AP 5.7 into it then youre in deep doo doo.
