Moozilla dowloaded successfully, but it can’t be applied. Is there some setting I’m overlooking? Win7 seems to have so much self-protection that it takes a lot of work to have control over what your computer does.
Why do they discard features that are helpful and add new ones that just frustrate with every ‘improvement’? Seems the heavy nerd type programmers like 10 steps to a process where there used to be one.
This explains how to get Mozilla through a windows firewall in 7.
If that isn't the problem, you may have to go into default programs and change it in there.
I use Norton for firewall/av and Mozilla works fine.
He got the printer/scanner to work by using USB cable, instead of wireless/network. That seemed to do the trick. He’s happy now. Thanks to everyone for helping me out. Appreciate it big time!

I *have* to use my devices as network printers due to our multi-user environment. So USB cable wasn’t an option for me.
