I’m just not getting any calls where they know me by name. They always ask for a different name and when I say they have the wrong number, it’s the same reply, “well, maybe you can help me.” No one else is having this happen? It’s happened to me 4 or 5 times in the last month.
The calls I have been getting lately are a bit different. They call on Monday and ask about my business hours. I give them the hours and Tuesday I get a call saying my phone skills are great and for a few hundred bucks I can buy in to some marketing company. (So I can start calling people and annoying them too)
It sounds more like a bill collector trying to catch up with a dead beat that gave out your number on a credit app.
