And the same arguments where given back in the eighties as I recall. Back then I maintain a marine aquarium. I purchased books including some hardbacks on salt water chemistry etc., and I remember similar scenarios being spelled out back then. But of course back then one did not have a rush to judgment regarding CO2 levels as being the culprit. That was when we where still waiting for the mini ice age projected by Dr. Hansen.
