My deepest condolences for the dead and wounded in this senseless act of ignorance. Violence against citizens cannot be condoned under any circumstance.
But Congress has a 13% popularity rating. It is obvious they have, in their arrogant and unethical behavior, pissed off an entire nation. They are naive to believe their repulsive actions could not generate an angry response from the fringe that has no more patience. The fringe is as much left wing revolutionary as it is right wing unimpaired liberty.
As Thomas Jefferson Said “The tree of liberty must be occasionally refreshed with the blood of tyrants and patriots.” Many of the actions our government is taking are visibly tyrannical.
But the result of the threat of people revolting will only make government less accessible by the people. And more tyranny to control the angry citizenry.

Your point is the elephant in the room that no one is addressing, anywhere else, that I've seen. While I don't believe that the nut case that did this is anything like a FReeper, Tea Partier, or whatever, what isn't happening is for liberals to take responsibility for their involvement in any violent episodes that may result from their actions.
Things they've done like ramming a health care bill down our throats that 60% of the American people didn't want, and explicitly said so by voting Republican in a landslide repudiation of the Democrat Party. Things they've done like telling us they have to pass a bill to read it. Things they've done like "deeming" a bill to have passed and then calling it the law of the land. Things like announcing that the Democrat agenda will still be enacted by 0bama using Exective Orders, essentially exercising dictatorial powers to enact an unwanted agenda. Things like calling the American public stupid over and over again.
I still believe strongly in the idea expressed in the Declaration of Independence "all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms (of government) to which they are accustomed".
At some point, if they continue on their present course, the Democrats / liberals are going to get on the wrong side of that idea. I hope it's not any time soon, but God help them when that happens.
