I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin as they became popular. I didn't realize until much later in life that they blatantly plagiarized some of their biggest hits. I wonder what the descendants of Bobby Parker, Jake Holmes, Leadbelly, Memphis Minnie, Sonny Boy Williamson, Bert Jansch, and Blind Willie Jackson would think of LZ. The song, Taurus by Spirit, was the crowning example of their thievery.
I wonder where the RIAA was when this happened?

Don’t forget the lines taken/stolen from Robert Johnson, King of the Delta Blues...

Why do you think they didn’t pay royalties?

“The song, Taurus by Spirit...”
BTW, what LZ song would that have been if LZ had indeed plaguerized the above song by Spirit?
Also, what album by Spirit is “Taurus” from? I have quite a bit of Spirit and I don’t seem to recall what it sounds like.
