Well, and not that I necessarily believe this, but a thought that came to mind...what would it look like before the magnetic poles flipped? Would there be disturbances that would confuse the birds’ ability to navigate?

I vaguely remember a few years ago reading about concern of this fault line.

Why would birds fall dead out of the sky before a quake?

Picture at the top of the page looks like it was taken in Detroit. 50 years of dim rule is more destructive than an earthquake zone.
