New edition of 'Huckleberry Finn' to lose the 'n' word

There is an unintended consequence from this sort of action.

If the "N" word never occurred then how did the “N” word become so tasteless? If you treat reality like fantasy then you can never explain how it came to be a problem.

Many people’s first awareness of just how evil slavery was is when Huck lies to people on the river looking for runaway slaves. We should not deny future generations the thought process that Mark Twain wrote describing Huck’s careful consideration of what he was doing when took the decision to lie.

If you don’t let the reality of history to the surface then what is the problem. If it never happened than it could have never been a problem.

Sounds to me like the democrats are trying to erase their founding and continuing involvement throughout history with the KKK.
