On the bright side ...

... this will do a lot for ocelot awareness.
2011 won't be another one of those years that just flow by without anyone ever giving a thought to Leopardus pardalis, aka el jaguarete or el tigrillo.

First saw her on TV as a Bonnie Maid girl in the 50’s. She was a knockout!

It was an adapdation of The Tempest. The design was very high budget for an SF film. It was MGM so it had that sheen.

She was very natural looking, and very unique for that reason. It was probably also the reason that she was as popular as she was. Rest in peace, Anne.

A truly CLASSY classic star. She was one of those gorgeous “50’s Dames” that I loved so much.

The thing I remember her best for was a Twilight Zone episode where she played a dress mannequin that was out for a months vacation and needed to return to her full time job.
RIP, Ms. Francis.

No. Say "id" isn't true.
I heard this morning a mention of the Honey West actress and didn't realize this is who they were talking about.
First Leslie Nielsen and now she joins him from that great sci fi classic film.

“...better keep an eye out for Earl Holliman, too.”
Sorry to say but Earl is no longer of this world, either. He died over a year ago.

Anne's short blue-gray dress from Forbidden Planet was on exhibit when I visited the Experience Music Project museum in Seattle a few years back.
Anne Francis remains a favorite actress.
