I’ve been using sea salt for years. I just tastes better, IMHO. To me, it not as sharp, and seems to have a broader, deeper, flavor. I never knew it was a left/right issue.
That’s my take on it also. I’m not a lib and I use sea salt because of the trace minerals it contains and the fact that it’s not bleached (at least the brand I use isn’t). I say “to each his own” in the true conservative spirit!
