had it not been for the label on the can advertising "sea salt" it is doubtful you would have noticed the difference.

Neither time did I see it before I tasted the soup.

The only difference between natural sea salt, which is 98% sodium and table salt with is 99.9% purity is only 1.9% purity.

And Hubby ate it and said there's a weird after taste. He thinks they did more than just the salt thing.

FWIW, I used to enjoy the Campbells "homestyle chicken noodle" which was the skinny noodles but they don't make it anymore........or at least I can't find it.

I have noticed a change in taste of all the soups I buy now and whether it's due to the change in salt/sodium content, I don't know. but they leave a bad after taste in my mouth too...........
