OK, you've had an hour's look at 2011 by now - is it safe? Is it too late for the rest of us to turn back?

Happy Idaho New Year to you - it's two degrees Fahrenheit and my neighbor is unlimbering his cannon. I swear I am not making that up...

Yeah, it even smells kind of good. (Of course, it rained here all day and washed dust off of things...)
