I gotta say, the man isn't stupid I guess. If Kasich and company are smart they will throw him in with Marcia Fudge.
Good riddance. Have to wonder what the man does next.

Districts would not be eliminated if the House size grew with the population.
The original intent of having House Representative districts have 30,000 to 50,000 people has long ago been sacrificed for a House of Aristocrats or Oligarchs.

The only thing better than eliminating that idiot’s seat would be eliminating that idiot.
And remember to flush the remains twice, it’s a long way to the dung...er...White House.

I have seen pictures of Kookcinich’s wife. Apparently he is quite the babe magnet. He can go hang out with Hugh Hefner.

If the state trended toward a 2-seat Dem pickup, do you thing the Dems would have any consideration for a long-time sitting Republican?

They should expand Kucinich’s district into the district of the next most liberal Congressman bordering him.
Pack it to the gills with Democrats, at the expense of the surrounding districts, to make them all more solidly Republican.
Let the two commies fight it out for the commie district, like two tomcats tied together by their tails and thrown over a clothesline.

What are you worried about them doing, Dennis? Blowing up Pluto?
Well, if they did, not to worry, you could always represent Uranus.

I would hate to see Kucinich go, he is one of the few liberals who is worthy of respect. My guess is that for the sake of seniority Ohio will try to eliminate a Democrat representative who has the least amount of seniority.
And as to the idea of increasing the number of representatives so that districts do not have to be eliminated... WTF?!?!?!?!

This is the same thing that happened to Bob Barr of Georgia after the 2000 census. Democrats in Georgia eliminated Barr's district.
It also happened to Martin Frost of Texas.
It's a risk that Representatives have to live with.
