As my place isn’t too far from Shrimp Daddy’s, I also get up to JJ’s a few times a year. I would eat there every weekend if I wanted to blow cash at that rate, but the wife and I are both pretty fair cooks and it gets a little steep to go there very often.
We ate there the week before Christmas but that was the first time since September. It is definately one of the best places at the Lake.
Be sure to try Shrimp Daddy’s if you haven’t. Their Shrimp Sampler is great and the place inside isn’t what it looks like from the outside. In fact, some Wednesday or Thursday night we could meet up there for a Lake Summit, LOL.
Most newcommers to the Lake area are surprised by the variety and size of Lake front homes but the winter season certainly doesn’t display the area to its best advantage due to the 10% of property owners that let vegetation provide screening for their lack luster lot clean ups.
but I have to like them because it’s like watching the Stillers with their uniforms.
