We’re retting about 10-12 inches here in Hampton Roads. Woohoo! We almost never get this much snow here!

My daughter’s en route to NYC as we speak...supposed to arrive about 4:45PM. Hope she doesn’t end up spending tonight on an airport floor in BFE. It’s gonna be close...

I live in upstate NY but lived in Williamsburg Va for a year. It was a glorious winter...2 inches of snow...amusing...the Town was shut down...

Yeah, folks around here don't know how to deal with the snow as well as folks up north or out west. Some folks from other parts of the country may laugh at us for not being good snow drivers or for closing schools over an inch or two of snow, but that is ok. We laugh at them over other things, so we are all even. :)
But boy, have we been enjoying this snow! Too bad that it is so powdery here though. Can't manage to make a good snowman with it.... :(

I didn't know you lived in the general area of where I go when I visit my dad. I was just up in that neck of the woods at the end of last month.

I’m from Philly but I got my one and only traffic ticket while attending the College of William and Mary and going to kangaroo court.
