New symptom this AM is when we went to give him a warm bath, we noticed green/yellow fluid in the ear that he tugs at and you cannot touch without setting him off.

It is time to take him to a 24 hour urgent care.

Agree! DO NOT put olive oil (or anything not prescribed by the doctor) in that ear until you find out if he's "blown the eardrum". Upon occasion an eardrum will develop a small hole that the infection drains out of - that green/yellow fluid.
IF he has a hole in the eardrum, you can permanently damage his hearing by putting liquid in the ear.
