Vinegar tastes bad but works great on heartburn. I don’t know how.

MSG always causes me to have stomach problems. It is very hard to avoid since in has been put into so many products. Campbell’s Soups were loaded with that crap. They have started leaving it out of some soups now.

Milk of magnesia works as an instant antacid. Cools the heartburn down on contact.

(Side effects may include diarrhea)

Indigestion/heart burn is not caused by too much acid, it is caused by too little.

Depends on the type of heartburn, there's more than one possible cause. But for the most common kind, yeah.

MSG bothers me too, it makes my heart beat go crazy, scary. Google flavor enhancers, MSG goes by many names now so you might not know you are ingesting it.

Prilosec generic or name brand works wonders...I take one in morning and one at night

if something gets thru in daytime...like too much bitter coffee

i take generic tagamet ot zantac

used to take pepcid..it was ok

now they have nexium generic which is basically prilosec time released....but Astra Zeneca now has Nexium II which is really just barely different...more magnesium...they are trying to evergreen patent time...can't say I blame them...Nexium is the Cialis of heartburn gold for drug companies...

(Side effects may include diarrhea)

may?

as in 4 missed periods and 20 extra pounds on a 17 year old girl "may" indicate pregnancy

I live by Milk of Magnesia...that half dose cherry...tastes less bad than the others...and man does it work...nothing else comes close except those gut crunching pills and stuff...I cannot imagine why folks take senna and ducolax...Milk of Mag is not bad for you at all and not so much abdominal pain...but lord don't overdo it...it will be like a "Jackass" skit

Pepcid Complete and its generic relatives, works every time, all of the time and at that very moment in time.

I agree with you on that. TUMs can bet hit or miss. I noticed the empty shelf while shopping at Krogers last week. The Kroger store brand is almost half the price of regular Pepcid.

I can tell if I eat that mess. It is used to enhance the flavor of slop you wouldn’t eat if it was left out. Maybe that is the reason Campbell’s soup is loaded up with it.

"Rolaids?"

Half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in a half a glass of water. Burp and be happy...
