Another piece falls into place.

In a press conference last week Obama was not wearing his wedding ring nor was he wearing his watch.

When noticed, his staff said his ring was out for repairs.

No reason was given for the missing watch.

So it’s just a coincidence that Muslims are forbidden from wearing jewelry during the month of Ramadan??? (think about that one)

Can't possibly be that, because although he hasn't gone to a Christian church service since entering the White House, we know he's a committed Christian 'cause he said so during the campaign.

I also read on this thread that Barry has been seen eating pork. I didn't know that, either.

I also didn't know that Muslim men weren't supposed to wear jewelry. I've seen Iraqi men wearing gold - in fact, it's not uncommon. Then again, a lot of Iraqis tend not to be as strict in their Islamic practices as in some other countries. (Alcohol is legal in Iraq, women don't have to cover up, they can drive, vote and hold public office, etc.)

Having said that, I don't trust anything Obama does. We really have no idea who he is and he wants it that way. What we do know, such as his association with Ayers, his childhood in Indonesia, etc. tells us enough.

I hope someday, we do find out this thug's true background.

How do you figure? The article you linked-to states:

The chorizo is pork in origin, and the lard with which its bun is made is probably porcine in origin, but to my eye that hardly constitutes "chomping publicly on pork"-- I've had chorizo many times and didn't realize it was pork-based until I looked it up just now, so it's possible Obama didn't realize. The article doesn't mention the word "pork."

Beyond that, there's the whole issue of al taquiyya. Believers may cloak themselves in all matters if the intent is to deceive the infidel and thereby strengthen the hand of Islam in its overarching goal of conquest. Observing an individual doing haram things in dar al-Harb signifies nothing.

And now I'm hungry. Where can I get a Frita around here...?

I agree. Respectfully, I never intimated that it did. I certainly never suggested that Obama is a Christian. I don't know what's in his heart.

I was responding to the content of a mass email that said Obama had never been to church since he became President.

I pointed out that was not true. It's easily proven not to be true.

There's enough to dislike about this President without resorting those kind of misleading statements (I'm in a good mood today, so I didn't call them lies).

Emails with simplistic mistruths about the president aren't particularly helpful to anyone, except media sources who strive to demonstrate that anyone opposed to Obama is ignorant and makes up accusations.

Are you the minister of truth? Having an atheist who is a Patriot would be an improvement. So weak - calling what you think are email mistruths about a guy who plans on restricting your freedom of the internet away. IMO, it screams of a co-dependent behavior ala 'It doesn't matter what they do to me, I'll always defend bad behavior'.

I apologize, but I really do not understand what I did to upset you.

A poster copied an email he had received and asked for help to determine whether it was true or 'another myth.' The email suggested Obama was a Muslim because he wasn't wearing a watch or wedding ring during Ramadan, and because he had never attended church while President.

We could all list fifty statements or actions that suggest Obama is either Muslim, a Muslim-sympathizer, or treats Judaism and Christianity as second-fiddles to Islam.

Some posters pointed out reasons why the email might be a myth. The original poster asked for that help.

I simply pointed out that the statement that Obama had never attended church while President was not true, in an attempt to help the poster and address the very question that he or she presented to the Forum.

If I did something to offend you, then I apologize.

My actions were intended to be responsive to the request of the original poster and I believe were factual and on point in responding to the original poster.

It's not a matter of my pointing out "what I think" are email mistruths. The statement was not truthful. I hope that helped the poster.

Imagine that - someone thinks that all emails are true and you needed to set them straight from the desk of the office of the minister of truth. Snopes can now go out of business.
