I’m going nuts. Or have gone. God forgives. I can’t. Just can’t. My thoughts this evening are of the Christmas that was to be. A family Christmas that a family member worked to destroy. And did. Motives unknown.
Well, if you can’t forgive, then ignore. Otherwise it’ll eat a hole in you and mess up your New Year.
Some people are just horrible and delight in doing horrible things for the fun of it. Put them out of your mind. Don’t try to analyze it, just let it go and go prey on some chocolate.
Merry Christmas! Now is the time for a long winters’ nap.
Oh, it can take a lifetime. I was once in a “never forgive” conviction myself, but the only person it was hurting was me. Look, we’ve both been around a long time and I’m telling you, you’re the real goods, my FRiend, you’re above it, way above it, but you’ll probably be the last to realize it. A quick prayer and a tip of the glass your direction. Merry Christmas!
I am truly sorry to hear. I hope you will find the strength in your heart to forgive and more importantly, move onwards. Including, celebrating a merrier Christmas next year.
If they are driving you nuts, they have won. Don’t let them win. I’m not talking about revenge, but not letting the actions of another destroy your own happiness.
Try feeling that for 27 years.
Somebody said “you get used to it”.
No ya don’t.
It’s like bein’ hanged.
You never get used to it.
Hope next year’s better for ya, sincerely.
