For me, watching this remake would be like sacrificing my first born. Never will happen.

Why can't people just let the great thing be? For example, would you like to see a new version of the “Statue of Liberty”? Or how about the country's Flag?

Nope, not me. Leave a good thing alone.

Hey Mariner, I'm pleased that the movie remake brought you enjoyment. However, for me, a true-blue True Grit fan, I feel insulted that Bollywood would do this.

I was dead set against seeing the unnecessary remake as well.

But then I read somewhere that the new movie is more of an homage than a remake.

I do plan to see it at some point, perhaps when it’s out on DVD.

But I don’t expect that Jeff Bridges (a fine actor) is a threat to The Duke.
