The thing that gets me -- on top of the obvious outrage of this whole thing -- is the fact that, if I did what Ted Kennedy did, I'd be rotting away in prison for the remainder of my natural life; he, on the other hand, had a very long career as a U.S. Senator.

I know -- he is, no doubt, in a place that's very warm right about now, but the fact that there is one set of laws for us common folk and, apparently, NO laws that apply to our elected officials -- stinks pretty bad from where I sit....

Yes, both parents are deceased. I believe Mary Jo was an only child. A few years after the “accident” it came out that Mary Jo’s parents did receive compensation for mental suffering-much deserved I should say.

One comment from Mary Jo’s mother regarding a possible affair between Mary Jo and Kennedy. The mother made reference to Mary Jo’s boyfriend and certainly implying that she was faithful to him. No one to the best of my knowledge ever tried to find anything about him.
