A bit off subject—but does anyone remember a weekly newspaper by the name of The Grit, which was published in the 50’s?

Yes, I have a Grit bag they gave me for selling it. It hangs in a display case with other of my lifes’ memorabilia.

What I remeber about it was that they ran ads in “Boys Life’ magazine looking for boys to start delivery routes in thei local area. They ran them in every issue for years.

Used to deliver it on horseback in a rural area of Pennsylvania when I was 12 years old.

It’s a magazine now. I got a copy at Walmart last summer.
