To: Cementjungle

A little before 9/11, I was going through security, removed my Buck Ultralight lock blade serrated 3” blade knife from my pocket and placed it in the hand of the gate security guy, walked through X-ray and retrieved my Buck Ultralight lock blade serrated 3” blade knife from the hand of the same security guy. A few years later, a TSA guy confiscated a 2mm Allen wrench from my bag.

I typically either mail a pocketknife to my destination or purchase a cheap one upon arrival.

Yep. My wife usually forgets to leave her nail clippers at home. It's usually around 50/50 odds as to whether it will be found/taken away by TSA.
