In my estimation, the Republican party has the 2012 election cycle to determine whether it will be the standard-bearer for conservative principles and traditional values — or not.
I really don’t care either way. If they continue to push RINOs, and their anti-gun, anti-religion and pro-gay bullcrap, then they will have proven that, to paraphrase Ronald Reagan, they have “left us behind”.
Right now, I think the Tea Party affiliates and key conservative figures are giving them one more chance. But if they put forward Romney-like RINOs, that’s it. Third Party, baby!
I agree. This is their last chance. Either they come around and start doing what conservatives demand of them, or the GOP is finished. They had a good run, more than 150 years. Now they have two more years to decide if they want to fold their tents and disappear into history, or allow the voters a chance to restore and renew them.
No third parties. Rather, a new second party would replace the Republicans if they decide they’d rather commit suicide than change their ways.
I’m done with Rinos too!
2012 will make or break the republican party for all time, enough already for those who line their nests at the cost of us who pay the GD bills.
My grandbabies are having to go without this year because the smarmmy pricks in DC just don’t have the courage to do whats right!
Next year is going to be the hardest year I’ve ever felt in my 53 years here on earth.
Easy answer. The Reps will NOT be the conservative standard bearers as a party. Take that to the bank.
