I am talking about the primary debates in places like South Carolina.
By South Carolina it will be too late.
Oh big deal. If you were really somebody you'd have been
on Oprah. (getting ready to dodge thrown object)
You left out she will lose, big.
If Sarah Palin doesn’t run, the nominee will be Mitt Romney.
You do not have enough information and you are not in the proper position to insult her intelligence.
If you want to be ruled over by Harvard Liberals for the rest of your life thats fine..whatever. Let them be your ruling political class masters. But I would prefer a President who knows she is working for we the people.
Maybe.
I disagree. They will have debates all through the next year.
Most people don’t tune into politics until close to the elections.
She can get the nomination. We both know that. All she has to do after that is be a viable alternative to Obama.
Liberals think that.
You win a CAR! The key is under your seat! (Good luck paying the taxes!)
Funny... this post alone proves that to be a falsehood.
LLS
That lets you off the hook.
I don’t believe any one that follows politics honestly believes that Sarah Palin is ignorant.
Sarah Palin is not the only conservative who will run. If not her, there will be a few other decent choices. The question is whether conservatives will settle on a consensus choice in time to block the establishment’s choice from sneaking in on 30% of the vote as McCain did. I’m going to reject any sentiment that sets her up as the Republic’s last hope and our only option. It just isn’t so.
I will argue with those saying she had no substantive policy prior to her launch into the national spotlight. She was well versed on ANWAR, energy and issues affecting Alaskans. She isn’t as well versed on some national issues Presidents would confront but give credit where it’s due. She has clearly been studying, reading and filling in gaps. People have a point there is a double standard against her when I’d wager her knowledge and expertise exceeds Obama’s. Be it sexist, her schooling, her familial relations or whatever the case she is treated differently.
The issue supporters need to understand is that life is not fair. It may not be fair it was excused for Obama and not for her but it is reality. What I need to see from Palin is a sign she can win over Independents and conservative Democrats. I haven’t seen that yet and until I do or even if I do I’m inclined to keep looking at the alternatives. In the end i’m going to vote for who I think is the most viable conservative. The only people I’m ruling out of consideration are those I don’t believe are conservative.
I am absolutely in the position to insult her intelligence.
Hey, it’s great if she’s going to school to understand the world..I mean, kudos if she’s doing that...she should be.
But she is NO REAGAN.
“If you want to be ruled over by Harvard Liberals for the rest of your life thats fine..whatever.”
When did I say I wanted that? Hm? I had a great taste of higher education. I wrote the conservative column for the college paper. You don’t know me.
“But I would prefer a President who knows she is working for we the people.”
Well, if we can get a really good and well-educated (hey...guess what...well-educated doesn’t always mean liberal) woman...then I will support her.
Sarah’s trying, but she’s not someone I would vote for if the vote was today.
So...no Conservative is smarter than Palin?
I think that is faulty logic.
I heard Democrats and Independents tell me for years that they would vote for John McCain. Guess what ? They didnt.
I think when a real conservative you provide the best contrast.
If Sarah can’t win. that means no conservative can win.
