Under Obamacare, if you are not covered by employer's insurance [or buying it on your own] by date certain - you go into the puplic insurance pool. If your employer drops health insurance in the future - go directly into the pool. Same if your insurance carrier goes bankrupt. Once in, if your circumstances improve, you are not allowed to get out. Eventually, everyone will be in the public insurance pool.

Dont forget McDonalds and a whole bunch more entities, over 200 of them have been exempted. Obamacare is so great of a solution to the trumped-up healthcare crisis that even the federal employees are exempt from it.
