Our son just recently got out of the Marines. While in, he did Toys for Tots during the holidays while stationed in the States.

One time last year (2009) two men walked up to him and one put a $50 bill in his bucket and handed him a second $50 bill, telling him to "treat himself and his buddies to a drink after they were done".

Our son said "Thank you, sir" and placed the second $50 in the bucket as well. The guy handing him the bills turned to his friend and said "Told 'ya" as they walked off.
