Meet Jeff Wood, alleged serial drinker. He’s a Wisconsin “independent” lawmaker who (allegedly) has a drinking problem and, right now, he’s sitting in jail…Sort of.
Being one vote short in their lame-duck session, Wisconsin Democrats were apparently so desperate to shove stalled union contracts down the throats of Wisconsin taxpayers before incoming-Governor Scott Walker can take office that they busted inmate Wood out of jail to vote with them.

Dear Lord. I pray this stunt seals their fate forever or for at least the next several decades.
Talk about corruption.
Well they DO share a border with Illinois, so some of that corruption was bound to bleed into WI.
All to ram through a labor contract to reward their labor union buddies.
Like the DC set, even with majorities in both houses, this Wisconsin Dems ran around in circles and after some infighting, couldn’t get it done.
Government worker labor contracts were not renewed.
I’m looking forward to the fireworks in Jan when the Republicans take over all 3 branches of Wisconsin government.
