I had a baby (5ft) bull take a run at my stomach once from 20 ft below. He turned away about 2 ft below me. It was scary as hell.

The picture is showing the belly of the shark, not the dorsal area.

I call Shenanigans! This is a dogfish, which is about 3 feet in size.
You can tell by the missing anal fin

The article forgot to mention that the shark was named “Archduke Ferdinand”.

Check out the size of the pectoral fins in front, and how far back the the dorsal fin is.I thought that too at first, but your looking at the belly only. The picture is of a 3 foot dogfish. It is the only kind of shark that lacks anal fins.
