I think the difference is the steak in that part of the world is corn fed. I know every steak I’ve ever eaten in Kansas City or in Nebraska was a lot better than anything I’ve ever eaten here in Texas.

But I’ll go there to eat it. I just don’t trust what’s coming in the mail. Nor will I buy OMAHA steaks off from some guy who knocks on the front door selling steaks out of his truck. I actually know people who’ve done that.

Some of the best steaks I've ever had were bought out of the back of a Ford ranger, in the parking lot of a Moline bar, about 10 minutes to close in 1999.

Good deal too. About 15 pounds for 10 bucks.
