Many people seem to equate the life of a dog to that of a child. There is no equivalency!!I don't think anybody here would equate the two. But it still doesn't diminish the heinous nature of his actions.

Do mink/seal trappers deserve the same punishment? The brutality/pain experienced by the animals is equivalent. What makes one worse than the other?
