Obviously an exception need to be made for the player who is forced out of bounds.
No it doesn’t. Just like they changed the rule for receptions this year. Even if you are forced out, you’re out.
You might say the player needs to have both feet out of bounds for him to be out of the play, but other than that, let people force others out of bounds. It would just add another wrinkle to the game.
