THIS is Pink Floyd star David Gilmour's yob son Charlie menacingly tossing a rock in the air during Thursday's student riots.

In all fairness - the kid is his step son. His father is an idiot lefty writer.
David Gilmour is a pretty respectful and thoughtful guy. I bet he would like to un-adopt the kid.
He was enjoying his semi-retirement free of the torture of people like Roger Waters. My guess is his son is a much much less talented idiot version of Rog.
Waters offered to bury the hatchet before Rick Wright died and Gilmour pretty much said - too late.
I feel badly for David hope he can keep his family together and learn from this.
did not come to help him. sigh*(if I could type as fast as I think) When will Microsoft invent that brain intergration software)
Mebbe he got a knock on the head in childhood like Albert Gore III.
If you don’t burn the building,
You can’t have any pudding,
How can you have any pudding
If you don’t burn the building......
A riot to protest rising tuition costs?
“We don’t need no education...” - The Pink Floyd
Personally, I much preferred Gilmour's musical sense to Waters. Waters just had too much of that whiny angst for me to like him much.
Gilmour is a hack. Floyd is Waters.
This is pretty much true that Roger became Pink Floyd. Still - he is an unpleasant lefty.
I read something on one of the UK papers that her mom was Chinese or her granmum and was big in Mao’s gang. Not the gang of 4 but his leadership group. I think she, the ex husband and idiot son are all lefty’s.
We can see why Dave went for her. He was a handsome guy when he was younger. Anyone know in the picture where he is getting his CBE from the Queen if his daughter was from another marriage? She is very pretty and looks nothing like this Polly Samson or whatever her name is.
Well, maybe, but I disagree. Creatively speaking, Waters was to Gilmour, as McCartney was to Lennon, or Simon to Garfunkel. Pink Floyd's post-Waters offerings were formulaic and dull.
Waters certainly became more gloomy over time -- by the time of The Final Cut we see him positively wallowing in his father's death in WWII. (Waters never knew him -- he died at Anzio when Waters was four months old.) Plenty of angst there -- but the lyrics.....
They disembarked in 45
And no-one spoke and no-one smiled
There were too many spaces in the line.
Gathered at the cenotaph
All agreed with hand on heart
To sheath the sacrificial Knifes.
But now
She stands upon Southampton Dock
with her handkerchief
and her summer frock
clings to her wet body in the rain. With silent desperation
knuckles white upon the slippery reigns,
she bravely waves the boys goodbye again.
Powerful stuff....
I do not really like Waters politics but he has been haunted all his life by his father’s death. Syd totally cracking up did not help matters.
Gilmour’s idiot step son maybe should have listened to this song. Anyone who knows anything about England knows what the cenotaph is.
When I see Gilmour now he looks a lot like Ike.
Agree that Gilmour isn’t the author that Waters was - and that’s probably a good thing. Watch “The Wall” and then tune into “Pulse”.
Pulse is like catching all the good parts of PF without the psychosis...LOL
